The OK7TEW has assumed the following duties and functions: A. Classify and disseminate intelligence to agencies and departments having a need to know. B. Support Oklahoma Region 7 coordination at the local, State, and Federal levels. C. Develop and update comprehensive regional threat assessments. D. Coordinate and facilitate multi-agency training and exercises. E. Perform active threat assessment and operational security prior to and during incidents. F. Perform post-incident analysis. G. Develop standard operating guidelines to address the intelligence function of the National Incident Management System (NIMS). H. Create awareness of regional, State, and Federal resources and capabilities among OK7TEW members and responding agencies. |
The membership of the OK7TEW shall be comprised of representatives from the following agencies: Tulsa County Sheriff’s office, Tulsa Police Department, Tulsa Fire Department, Tulsa Public Works & Development Department, Tulsa Area Emergency Management Agency (TAEMA), Tulsa City-County Health Department, EMSA, Metropolitan Medical Response System (MMRS), Memorial Institute for the Prevention of Terrorism (MIPT), Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Tulsa Airport Authority, Oklahoma Air National Guard - Tulsa, Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF), OKHLS Region VII Council, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Transportation Security Administration, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI), and the Oklahoma Regional Community Policing Institute (ORCPI).
Cooperating agencies include other local law enforcement agencies, schools, hospitals, utilities and other local, regional, State and Federal agencies as invited.
